Plage de Mémard

Plage de Mémard occupies the eastern shore of the Lac du Bourget, at Aix-les-Bains. Supervised swimming 27 June to 30 August 2026, 13:00 to 19:00. Entry is free.

Parking is not documented by the official source, and we do not infer it from the neighbouring beaches. No official source says anything about accessibility here: neither accessible nor inaccessible — unknown. Dogs are not allowed — « même en laisse durant la saison estivale », not even on a lead during the summer season. Grand Lac applies the same rule on all nine of its beaches.

Grand Lac runs nine beaches around the Lac du Bourget. The supervision rule and the animals rule are the same at every one of them; price, parking, accessibility and water rating are not, and have to be read beach by beach. That is why this page gives them separately rather than under one banner.

During the supervised season (27 June to 30 August 2026, 13:00 to 19:00). Outside that window no lifeguard is on duty and swimming is at your own risk.
