What is Le Bourget-du-Lac municipal beach

The Le Bourget-du-Lac municipal beach opens the southern shore of the Lac du Bourget, a stone's throw from the château de Thomas II. In season — 13 June to 30 August 2026 inclusive — access is paid: €2.30 to €3.20 per adult, €1.60 to €2.20 per child, with a reduced rate from 16:00. The rest of the year, the beach is open daily, free.

On the supervised swimming's closing hour, the two official sources differ by an hour: the commune publishes 10:00–18:00, the tourist office 10:00–19:00. We give both and do not arbitrate.

The facilities are complete: showers, cabins, toilets, beach volleyball, children's games, picnicking allowed, a restaurant — and free WiFi. Above all, the whole beach is accessible to visitors with reduced mobility without assistance, per the official listing.
