What is Les Menuires

Les Menuires, its heart at La Croisette (1,850 m) in the Belleville valley, lines up a local domain of 81 runs and 30 lifts shared with Saint-Martin-de-Belleville — 16% green, 41% blue — with 85% of the domain above 1,800 m, and the 3 Vallées link over the Mont de la Chambre (2,800 m). The resort sits 'at the centre of the world's largest ski area': '600 kilometres of runs and 156 lifts' — courchevel.com counts 155; both figures are quoted.

The rarity lies elsewhere: the official 2026 beginner piste map names the free lifts one by one — seven carpets (Pelvoux, covered Les Plans, Reberty 1850, Preyerand, covered Les Bruyères, Biolley 1 and 2), the Village drag lift, the Croisette gondola and the Preyerand cable car: ten machines without a pass. Add the free shuttles within the resort and to Val Thorens and Saint-Martin, 36 fun zones and 10 sledging areas, the 4 km Roc'n Bob sledge run and the La Mine rail sledge.
