The Glaciers gondola extends the Roche de Mio gondola and reaches, per La Plagne's official page, "over 3,000 metres in less than 15 minutes". One secondary source claims 3,080 m, another describes a link between 2,700 and 3,000 m: the operator itself declines to give a precise figure.
Two practical points. It is closed on Saturdays, like the Roche de Mio that feeds it — checking only one of the two is not enough. And it is pedestrians only: no skiers, no mountain bikes.
It replaced the Bellecôte gondola, and the Bellecôte glacier is no longer operated: any page describing summer skiing there is out of date.
4 July to 29 August 2026, except Saturdays, and subject to favourable weather — a condition the official page states explicitly. Above 3,000 m, check on the morning itself.
