What is Parc d'Aventure des Géants

At Aillons-Margériaz 1000, in the Bauges massif, the Parc d'Aventure des Géants stacks two worlds that do not share the same rules. The Pays Suspendu des Géants is a 7,000 m² park of suspended nets — trampolines, slides, cabins — crossed without a harness and open 'from 2 years - 80 cm': in the nets, under-6s must be accompanied by an adult. A Parcours Kids 'for children aged 4-8' is included with entry.

The AccroTyro des Géants is the other register: four treetop courses from green to black plus a cascade of ziplines, open 'from 8 years and 1.25 m', with an accompanying adult over 16 required between 8 and 12 and independence from 13. The tourist office publishes a different condition — 'from 8 years and 30 kg' — and we quote both, because a child can have the height without the weight. The site is completed by the Bungee Ejection, a human catapult up to 20 m 'from 10 years, minimum weight 35 kg', and a multi-activity tower.

The operator opens the Pays Suspendu on the last three weekends of May then every weekend in June (10:00 to 17:00), before full running 'every day of the summer holidays' from 4 July to 30 August, 10:00 to 18:00. FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What age and height are needed?

The Pays Suspendu takes children 'from 2 years - 80 cm', without a harness, under-6s accompanied. The Parcours Kids targets 4-8s. The AccroTyro requires '8 years and 1.25 m', with an adult over 16 between 8 and 12. The Bungee Ejection starts at 10 years and 35 kg.

Is it 1.25 m or 30 kg for the AccroTyro?

Both conditions appear on official pages: 'from 8 years and 1m25' on the resort's site, 'from 8 years and 30kg' on the tourist office's. A child can meet one and not the other — check with the park before making the drive.

Can you bring a pushchair?

It is not advised, and the park says so itself: 'pushchair access is not recommended in the park, as the terrain is unsuitable', the approach being on a slope. Bring good shoes.

Are dogs allowed?

Not in the park: 'dogs and other animals are forbidden in the park and must be kept on a lead outside the welcome centre' — in front of the tills, the terrace and the picnic tables.

How much does it cost?

Pays Suspendu: €15 a day from age 9, €10 for 4-8s, €2 for an adult staying on the ground, €125 for a book of 10 (prices updated March 2026). AccroTyro: €31 full, €27 reduced, €25 per person for a tribe of 6-8 (updated May 2026). The age brackets for these prices differ between the park and the tourist office.

Where do you park?

Parking: Free parking.

When should you go?

Best time: 4 July – 30 August 2026 (weekends from May per the operator).

Is it stroller-friendly?

Stroller: Not recommended — unsuitable terrain.
