What is Base de loisirs des Îles du Chéran

The Îles du Chéran leisure base, at Lescheraines, lays out two lakes in the heart of the Bauges massif. Swimming is free and lifeguarded in summer, as are the fitness trail, the football pitch, the pétanque, the playground, the multi-sport court, the beach volleyball and the skatepark.

A few services remain paid, and we flag them: parking (€1 an hour, two hours free, €20 season pass), the three-lane water slide (€6 for ten rides, €9 for a half-day, open 2 July to 30 August, 2 to 6 pm) and the wakepark. The commune describes 'an exceptional green setting, between lakes and forests'.
