WAM PARK Savoie, at Montailleur in the Combe de Savoie, is a lake watersports base built around two cable tows — a large one for wakeboarding, waterskiing and kneeboarding, a small one for learning — alongside inflatable Water Games, a Water Jump, paddleboards, floating islands and a treetop course whose 150 m zipline crosses the water.
Two things are worth knowing before you come. Entry is free, as is the picnic area — you pay only for activities. And despite the lake, the operator is unambiguous: « Baignade interdite », swimming is forbidden and there is no bathing area on site. Tourist-office copy describing 'a day at the beach' is describing the mood, not a permission.
The season runs April to mid-October, ramping up: cable tows Wednesday to Sunday from 25 April, all activities daily from 13 June, then 10:00 to 20:30 every day from 4 July to 31 August. Last session starts an hour before closing. The tourist office publishes a single span instead — 'from 25/04 to 11/10/2026, Monday to Friday 10:00 to 20:30' — which does not match the operator's calendar: we quote both.

No. The operator states « Baignade interdite » (swimming forbidden) and notes there is no bathing area on site: the lake is for the cable tows and the inflatables, not for open swimming.
7 for the cable tows and the treetop course, 5 for the Water Games, Water Jump and paddleboards, 4 for the accompanied taster (60 kg maximum). Under-10s must be accompanied by an adult on the water games, under-12s on the treetop course.
The official sources disagree: 'Taille minimum : 1m20' on the operator's site, 'dès 1.30m' on the Pays d'Albertville tourist-office page. Ten centimetres decide a family day out — call ahead if your child falls between the two.
