What is Mont Vallon Gondola

The Mont Vallon gondola arrives at 2,952 m above Méribel, in the commune of Les Allues — Méribel is a resort, Les Allues the commune. It is the highest pedestrian point in the Méribel valley, reached in an 8-minute ride.

One practical point dominates: you cannot get there directly. From Méribel-Mottaret you must chain three lifts — the Plattières gondola, the Plan des Mains chairlift, then the Mont Vallon gondola. No source publishes hours lift by lift.

Summer 2026: Les 3 Vallées announce Méribel's lifts open 7 days a week from 4 July to 29 August, except Pas du Lac. Yet the same page shows, at the top, an overall season ending on 28 August.
