What is Véloroute de la Combe de Savoie (V62)

The V62 'Combe de Savoie' follows the Isère between Albertville and Montmélian. AF3V gives it 38.5 km and describes an easy cycle route that alternates car-free greenway sections with shared sections on road or farm tracks; roughly half the route was built as dedicated greenway at the time of research. It is therefore not an entirely car-free greenway, though genuinely reserved stretches do exist.

With the V63 it forms Cœur de Savoie's 'La Belle Via' itinerary. It is open to walkers and soft mobility (scooters, strollers, rollerblades). Savoie Mont Blanc separately describes a longer V62 from Ugine to Chambéry via Albertville (~70 km over two days): a different scope, which we flag without conflating it with the Albertville to Montmélian section.
