What is Mont-Bochor Cable Car

The Mont-Bochor cable car climbs from the village of Pralognan-la-Vanoise to the Mont Bochor promontory, where an orientation table stands at 2,023 m according to secondary sources. It is the most direct mechanised access to the Col Rosset and Col de la Vanoise trails, one of the gateways to the national park.

Two timetable details govern a visit. First a midday break: the machine stops from 12:45 to 13:30. Second, the June pattern: from 6 to 26 June 2026 it runs only on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, going daily only from 27 June until 30 August.

The tourist office publishes no prices on its lifts page: the figures circulating elsewhere come from aggregators and are not repeated here.
